Student Bridges is a student-initiated outreach program that connects UMass students with local community-based organizations and schools through tutoring-mentoring partnerships, college awareness activities, and policy advocacy. The program has primarily partnered with schools and programs in the Holyoke-Springfield area.

~Holyoke Bound Orientation~
Saturday, September 20th, 2008
from 11am - 4pm,
at Peck Middle School in Holyoke
Holyoke Bound is a day-long orientation to the City of Holyoke for college students who are working, interning or volunteering in Holyoke. The day will include history and political economy of the city, presentations about the city's assets, discussions with students, community organizers, and more.
If you plan to make this mandatory for your students, please let us know ASAP.
