Engaging Latino Communities for Education (ENLACE) and "AVANZA 2 College":

"AVANZA 2 College," a program of Holyoke Community College's ENLACE initiative, is designed to strengthen pathways to higher education (and specifically, to Holyoke Community College) for students from Holyoke High School and Dean Technical High School. In partnership with ENLACE and AVANZA 2 College, Student Bridges interns share their experiences transferring to UMass from community colleges and attending 4-year institutions, and they coordinate and host visits to the University.

South End Community Center and New North Citizens Council (Springfield, MA)

Student Bridges recently entered into a new partnership with two community based organizations in Springfield in collaboration with the UMass Extension office. The partnership will include the placement of tutor-mentors in afterschool programs for Springfield middle school students and the implementation of Science, Technology and Engineering material with middle school students in Springfield.
